Recipes – CHIA PUDDING PARFAIT

INGREDIENTS 

  • 4 tablespoons of chia seeds 
  • 1/2 cup of almonds
  • 2 cups of filtered water
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • Fruits and berries chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend almonds, water, honey and vanilla together. Mix in chia seeds with spoon and move to refrigerator to chill overnight.
  2. Serve the thickened chia seed mixture alternating it with layers of fruits.
  3. Optional: Top up with coconut flakes or/and granola.

Chia seeds are very high in healthy omega-3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, fiber, antioxidants, and calcium. Don’t forget to soak chia seeds at least 8 hours for easy digestion.
