INGREDIENTS
- 4 tablespoons of chia seeds
- 1/2 cup of almonds
- 2 cups of filtered water
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- Fruits and berries chopped
- 2 tablespoons of coconut flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend almonds, water, honey and vanilla together. Mix in chia seeds with spoon and move to refrigerator to chill overnight.
- Serve the thickened chia seed mixture alternating it with layers of fruits.
- Optional: Top up with coconut flakes or/and granola.
Chia seeds are very high in healthy omega-3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, fiber, antioxidants, and calcium. Don’t forget to soak chia seeds at least 8 hours for easy digestion.
